Cosmetology Programs
At Legends Academy, we offer a wide variety of programs so greater Vancouver residents can ensure they receive the most current Cosmetology training. Our staff members, who are expert in their field, supervise all hands-on training. We are designated with Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) and our programs have been approved by the Registrar of the Private Training Institution Branch of BC and have a high success rate of student to employment ratio. In addition, our Cosmetology school in the Fraser Valley also offers competitive prices and is conveniently located in Langley.
We offer the following programs at Legends Academy that are approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.
Hairdressing
In our Hairdressing program, you are taught the basics and foundations of Hairdressing needed to meet industry standards and will have the knowledge and confidence to provide Professional quality services, with a wide range of Advanced Hairdressing skills, including: Designer cuts with finish style, Foil techniques, Multidimensional Hair Colouring, Hair Extensions, and Advanced Texture Service techniques.*
Esthetics
When you enroll in our Esthetics program, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to provide Professional quality services, with a wide range of Advanced Esthetics skills, including: Manicures, Pedicures, Spa Manicures, Spa Pedicures, Artificial Nails, Advanced Waxing Services, Expert Skin and Analysis, a full menu of Facial Treatments, Full Body Massage, Body Treatments, and Makeup Artistry.*
Medical Esthetics Laser
When enrolling in our Medical Esthetics Laser program, you will complete our Esthetics program and learn the theoretical foundations of Laser, Light Therapies and we offer complete hands-on training on a Medical Laser, Practical training on Light Therapies such as Radio Frequency, IPL, IR, DPC, and Laser. This program will dramatically enhance your skills in the growing demand for Medi-Spas and Advanced Esthetic Spas.*
Medical Laser
When enrolling in our Medical Laser program, a pre-requisite for the program is, having already obtained your Esthetics Diploma. This program will instruct the theoretical foundations of Laser, Light therapies and offer complete hands-on training on a Medical Laser. Our Med-Aesthetic treatment system employs five powerful technologies and provides a limitless range of applications, Light therapies such as Radio Frequency, IPL, DPC, IR and the NdYag Laser. This program will dramatically enhance your skills into the growing demand of Medi-Spas and Advanced Esthetic Spas.*
Waxing
If you are interested in becoming a Waxing technician, Legends Academy offers full body and face waxing skills at our facility. This is a program not easily found in this industry.*
Nail Technology
On completion of our Nail Technology program, you will have the skills and confidence needed to successfully give Manicures, Pedicures, Spa Manicures, and Spa Pedicures, Artificial Nails, which includes all Gel and Acrylic Applications, Nail Art, and other nail-related services.*
Requirements
You must meet various requirements prior to enrolling at our Academy. If you fail to meet any of the admission requirements, you will not be enrolled.

The programs range from 2.5 months to 12 months in length.
