Nail Technology Program
Upon completion of the Nail Technology program, our graduates will have the knowledge and confidence to provide professional quality services, with a wide range of professional Nail Technology skills, including: Manicures, Pedicures, Spa Manicures, Spa Pedicures, Artificial Nails with Acrylic and Gel, Tip Application, Nail Art, as well as proper procedures using a nail drill.
The theory segment of the program will give students knowledge of the Life Skills, Career Opportunities, How to Communicate Effectively in a Spa or Salon, Infection Control, Nail Anatomy, Basic Body Systems, Principles of Electricity, Chemistry of Nails and Skin, Salon Business as well as proper resume and job interview procedures.
Program Description
This program is designed to instruct students enrolled in the Nail Technology Program the essentials required to meet the industry standards in the role of a Nail Technician in a Salon or Spa.*
- 400 hours
- Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 17.2 week/4 month program

Career Opportunities
The career opportunities for a qualified Nail Technician are: working in a Spa or Salon as a Nail Technician and will be able to perform all services required as a Nail Technician. Other opportunities would be: working in sales for a supplier of cosmetology products, a representative for a product line in Cosmetology, a position which leads to managing a Spa or Salon, reception for a Salon or Spa, and knowledge of the services they offer or opening their own Salon or Spa.
