What is Full Head Highlights?
A full head of highlights means 25 to 30 individual foils placed across every quadrant of your head — top, sides, back, nape — to create even, dimensional brightness. Each foil holds a section of hair painted with lightener, processed at heat, then rinsed and toned. It's the technique behind every "natural sunkissed" look that doesn't actually look sunkissed at all but rather carefully engineered by a colorist who knows where light hits a face.

Highlighting is the most-performed hair service in North America — over 60% of women who color their hair professionally choose some form of highlights over single-process color. The reason? Lower commitment. Highlights grow out gradually, blend with regrowth, and let you go months between salon visits. A full set at a downtown Vancouver salon often runs $250 – $450. Our students learn the same foil techniques used in those salons; ours just costs $150 because the colorist is in their final training phase.

I've reviewed Legends Academy in the past and I'm doing it again today. My service this week was exceptional. The student did a wonderful facial and scalp massage. It was so good that I fell asleep! The students are taught to the highest standards and the instructors are top notch! This is a well managed school and if you haven't tried one of their services, what are you waiting for?
